Monday I go back to work, and I already know that my first week is going to be a busy one. I have a project taking off ... and in order to have something ready for my colleagues to do, there are preparations that have to be made. This means that I will spend monday afternoon working with the guy acting as analytic on the project, to prepare for a long meeting on tuesday.
I could go on ... there will be plenty to do for me and my colleagues. The main thing, though, is the feeling in the pit of my stomach as I face that busy week coming up (or those busy weekS, if you want to be realistic). And my stomach feels good.
I look forwards to coming back to work, back to the guys in "my" team, and back to all the fun and challenges.
I love to spend time at home, and to just putter about. I've gotten a lot of suntanning done, a lot of reading, and practical stuff too ... scrubbed a couple of floors, sewed drapes for my bedroom, worked in the garden. But I also love my job, the company of my co-workers, and the tasks I have to fill.
So it is all about life balance. I like to think I am balanced - and my gut feeling confirms it :-)
